16 National Finishes 2nd at Cross Court!

Lots of Success at Cross Court Classic!

All 16 Brazos Valley Juniors teams competed at the largest Regional tournament in Texas over Spring Break. The tournament was  held at the George R. Brown Convention Center and various sites in Houston and had BVJ teams fighting for medals in several different age groups!

Top finishes were:

11 National: 5th (only one loss and it was to eventual champion)
12 National: 4th in Open (lost in semi's to eventual champion)
14 National: 3rd  in Open (only one loss and it was to eventual champion)
14 Mizuno: 7th in Elite (only one loss and it was to eventual champion)
15 National: 3rd in Elite
16 National: 2nd in Elite
17 National: 2nd in Club (after winning a thrilling tiebreaker playoff on Saturday).

Other highlights were 16 Mizuno winning their pool on Saturday and 14 Impact finishing 2nd on Saturday. Both of these teams have really improved!

Congrats to all our teams and thanks to all the families that are supporting their teams with enthusiasm!


    Small Group Training

    Come work on your individual skills. You'll be in a group of 2-6 players and will work on specific skill work. Sessions are on Monday nights at Rudder High. Defense/Passing is at 6:30. Hitting is at 7:30. Clinics are open to any player. You do not have to be a BVJ player to participate.

    Patriot League-Developmental Opportunity-Session 2: Registration is NOW OPEN!

    UPDATE:  PATRIOT LEAGUE, Session 2 Registration is now open!

    The Brazos Valley Juniors Patriot League provides a terrific opportunity for young girls to participate in a developmental opportunity. The league is designed for 4th and 5th grade girls, but will be beneficial to girls as young as 3rd grade or for 6th graders that didn't play club this year. Session 2 is a 6 week session (begins on April 16) that will take the players through all of the basic volleyball skills.

    Cost is $135 if you register by April 5. Click on the registration link below!

    Brazos Valley Juniors

    Brazos Valley Juniors, also known as BVJ,  is a USAV club volleyball program serving Junior Olympic volleyball players in the Brazos Valley area. Brazos Valley Juniors is a non-profit 501(c)(3) club and is based out of Bryan-College Station, Texas. The club strives to provide quality volleyball training and competition, to female athletes from 10-18 years of age in Bryan, College Station and all surrounding cities.
