Good luck to Jasmine Rau as she starts competition today representing BVJ and our Lone Star Region in the 2018 USAV… https://t.co/BXLHYuPDyo
The following letter was sent to all BVJ Members on Monday, May 9th. We are excited about the coming chapter!
Hi All,
After 27 years of dedication and excellence, Brazos Valley Juniors will continue to serve the volleyball community by becoming part of Houston Skyline BCS. We are excited about the opportunities we can provide our athletes by joining the Skyline BCS team. I strongly believe that this is in the best interest of our local volleyball community.
Skyline BCS will be led by an excellent team. Executive director of the BCS location, Kacie Street, and Jen & Mitch Woods founders of the Houston location are all excited about developing young athletes in the Brazos Valley. Jen and Mitch are both former Aggies, with Jen being a former Aggie volleyball player as well. Kacie most recently held the role of Head Coach for the College Station Cougars. Prior to that she spent a decade working for the Houston Skyline location. She is also an Aggie, a former A&M Consolidated Tiger, and was a member of BVJ!
After administratively leading Brazos Valley Juniors for over 20 years, this opportunity to merge with Houston Skyline BCS under Kacie's leadership is too good of an opportunity to pass up. I will continue to coach and will have some administrative duties. I have enjoyed leading BVJ, but it is a great time to pass the torch! Under Houston Skyline BCS’s programing and partnership with League One Volleyball, athletes will have even more opportunities for training and development. Many of our BVJ coaches will continue to work with Houston Skyline BCS and look forward to working with our area's athletes.
I know that you will have many questions and Houston Skyline BCS will be hosting a comprehensive informational meeting on June 7th at 6:00pm at the Brazos Center in Bryan. You are all invited and we hope that you will attend. Please visit the website at, www.hskylinebcs.com.
I am extremely grateful for all the past and current members of Brazos Valley Juniors. The pursuit of excellence will continue as we strive to develop great volleyball in the community under Skyline BCS. As we have more definitive information for you, we will communicate it and that same information will be posted on our website.
Thank you for being a part of Brazos Valley Juniors and I hope that you will join us as we embark on a new path with Houston Skyline BCS!
Take Care,
Jacky

BVJ couldn't be happier for, and prouder of anybody, than we are of Haley Slocum. Haley played her entire club volleyball career from 11-18's for Brazos Valley Juniors and has been a proud and loyal member of the Texas Aggies Volleyball team. This week, she received a gift that is well deserved. Haley is an inspiration to every girl that loves the game and understands the value of being a terrific teammate in addition to playing volleyball for all the right reasons! Watch!

Because of Covid 19, we are not able to hold BRAVO Academy this fall. We hope to offer it again in the spring of 2021. Please check back in early January for updated info.
BRAVO ACADEMY is a 6 week developmental volleyball training academy designed for boys and girls in 4th -6th grade. We will accept players younger or older, but understand that the instruction and drills are geared to 10-12 year old beginning players. This is a training academy, not a league that offers games and tournaments. We will teach the basics so that your athlete is ready and excited to hopefully try out for BVJ in the fall!
To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa or MasterCard information available.
The cost is $150. The price includes all skills training and a BVJ dry fit shirt.
There are no refunds given for sessions that an athlete is not able to attend.
